Just to make sure everyone is clear Iran is just not ont he agenda for the administration at this point. So, as youknow, Condi was just responding to questions with her good buddy in Germany yesterday and you haven't heard this from Bush:
(via Drudge)
"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush said on Wednesday Iran with a nuclear weapon would be a "very destabilizing" force and that it was important for the world to speak with one voice against Tehran's program."
Or, "You motherfucks! Only WE can have nukular weapons dammit."
"The Iranians just need to know that the free world is working together to send a very clear message: Don't develop a nuclear weapon," Bush said.
"And the reason we're sending that message is because Iran with a nuclear weapon would be a very destabilizing force in the world," he said during a meeting with Poland's president.
God, he just loves those Polish folks, and who can blame him? I work with a number of Polish people and they are really a great bunch of nice people! You know, the way I see it anyone with a nuclear weapon is destabalizing wether it be us, Russia, India, Pakistan, France and anyone else that's already got the fucking things...Speaking of that:
(Via Drudge/My Way)
"SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - North Korea on Thursday announced for the first time that it has nuclear arms and rejected moves to restart disarmament talks anytime soon, saying it needs the weapons as protection against an increasingly hostile United States."
What?! The U.S. is the freedom loving and freedom and liberty giving good guys! How can they say this!?
"The communist state's pronouncement dramatically raised the stakes in the two-year-old nuclear confrontation and posed a grave challenge to President Bush, who started his second term with a vow to end North Korea's nuclear program through six-nation talks."
Oh cuz they're freakin' COMMIES! Well, we'll get them with our six-nation talks which will undoubtably use the dreaded twelve-sided die to determine how many hit points lost in each verbal combated exchange. So, why does North Korea need nukes?
"We ... have manufactured nukes for self-defense to cope with the Bush administration's ever more undisguised policy to isolate and stifle the (North)," the North Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the state-run Korean Central News Agency."
So, while we are busy making Iraq and Afghanistan free while fighting our current true enemy, terror. The North Koreans are building actual weapons of mass destruction specifically to defend against their enemy...US! All this time, Dubya has been practically blowing them off and telling us how Iraq was the reason the world wasn't safe. Not that it matters much as North Korea also stated they intend to boycot any more talks as:
(NY Times)
"after concluding that the second Bush administration would pursue the "brazen-faced, double-dealing tactics" of dialogue and "regime change."
